Data Export & Switching
You can take all of your data out of Qiyada at any time, free of charge. This page describes what you get and how switching to another provider works. It supplements section 10 of our Terms of Service.
1. Exporting your workspace
A workspace administrator can download a complete export from Organisation → Your data → Export workspace. The export is a ZIP file containing:
| Folder / file | Contents | Format |
|---|---|---|
README.txt |
What the export contains and when it was made | Text |
workspace.json |
Workspace name, plan and settings | JSON |
data/<table>.json |
Every record in your workspace — companies, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, goals, decisions, board packs, letters, contacts, calendar items, notes, AI conversations, audit log and more — one file per data type | JSON |
csv/<table>.csv |
The same records as spreadsheets | CSV (UTF-8) |
files/ |
Images and documents stored in your workspace, such as business-card images, logos, letterheads, signatures and stamps. (Statements and contracts you upload are read when you upload them and are not kept as files; the figures and text extracted from them are in data/.) |
Original format |
Passwords, two-factor secrets and connection credentials are never included. Reports and documents generated by the Service can also be exported individually as PDF, Excel, Word or PowerPoint from the screens where they appear (depending on your plan).
2. Limitations
- The export contains data, not our software: the screens, calculations and templates of Qiyada are not included.
- Third-party content that we are not permitted to redistribute (such as Google search suggestions) is excluded; links and sources in market briefings are included.
- Very large workspaces may take a few minutes to prepare.
3. Switching to another provider
You can switch at any time. Give notice by email to info@meandrobo.com.qa (of up to two months, as you choose). After the notice period there is a transitional period of up to 30 days during which the Service continues and we help you move; your data then remains available for retrieval for at least a further 30 days, after which we erase it and confirm that switching is complete. We charge no switching, data-egress or exit fees.
4. Closing and deletion
The workspace owner can close the workspace under Organisation → Your data → Close workspace. Any paid subscription stops renewing, the data stays available for export for 30 days (and the closure can be cancelled during that time), and the workspace is then permanently deleted. Encrypted backups roll over within 60 days after deletion.
5. Where your data is processed
Our application and database run on infrastructure located in [to be completed: hosting country]. Encrypted backups are kept on the same infrastructure. AI processing is carried out by Google (see our Sub-processors page). To protect your data against unlawful access, including by governments, we encrypt connections and sensitive credentials, restrict and log administrative access, and handle any government request as described in section 10.4 of our Data Processing Addendum: we notify you where allowed, assess and challenge unlawful requests, and disclose only the minimum required.
